This is the place can be revisit many time for lunch. The lunch special all you can eat at weekdays is $17.95 per person. I say this is a steal after you know what they are serving. It is worth every penny to be here. I would suggest no breakfast in the morning and come to here for all you can eat sushi and habachi. Most of the endless sushi place want to save material and the rice do not have a lot of rice vinegar which taste like pure rice. This place has the correct taste. Most of the endless sushi does not include true material of special roll but this place does. Check on my pictures and you will know they have thick pieces of fish over rice. The reason that I said it worth the money is the roll that you order separately or endless deal is the same way they make it. Most of the special roll is about $10 per roll and we have 8 of them. On top of that, we have the clams' soup, fried whole soft shell crab, tuna Tataki, beef Negimaki, individual sushi red clam and more. The Beef Negimaki is strip beef roll I the scallions and top with eel sauce. The beef is sear to crisp and perfect for eating. The tuna Tataki is prepare over vinegar soy sauces and top with masago. I also like the clam soup with big clam. I like bomb roll with fried oysters top with eel sauce. I also like the Fancy Eel roll that rice roll with smoke salmon skin and top with eel meat and eel sauce. All the rolls are great and so is the service. We were stuffed after we have finish. In my review, I have half of the picture we have order. Please refer to Grace H review for the other half of delicious sushi.

Was bummed, because the reviews seemed favorable. Rolls were falling apart, poorly assembled. Didn't taste that fresh and prices were high. Also, they brought out the wrong roll and said if we didn't like it they could bring out the roll we did order... Service was poor to say the least. Also, rolls were so big they almost needed two bites.. which complicates things when they were falling apart to begin with.

Wonderful restaurant. This is the second time we've gone here and did the all you can eat sushi. It's not your typical all you can eat, you actually order what you want. My hubby, myself and our oldest son did all the all you can eat which was $17.99? Per person. We each got an order of soft shell crab appetizers, 2 orders of fried oysters, beef negimaki, nasu dengaku, salmon skin salad, clam soup, tuna tataki and some sushi. They make everything to order so everything is fresh when you eat it. You can get everything from soups (like miso and even udon), to salads, to different appetizers, and hibachi meals. You will definitely get your money's worth. One tip is if you go with another person, just order one of a cetain item and share it. That way you can try as many of their menu items and not get full right away. And if you liked a certain menu item, you can always order some more of it. They also have great lunch specials. My nephew got a teriyaki steak bento box for only $10 something, my youngest got the hibachi steak also cheap and the portion was big and my other nephew got the 2 rolls special with was only $8 something. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants PCB. Also, the wait staff are always so nice!

The all you can eat deal is from 11 to 4 pm. There were over 100 items you can order from the menu but I have only one small stomch. We have to select only the " must have" dishes to order. As if you didn't finish the food, you will pay fine. The sushi and special rolls were so good. The clam soup was the best I ever had. The soft shell crab was big and the coating so crunchy and perfect. The other cold and hot appetizers we had were also very delicious. The food quality was excellent, the presentation was beautiful, the service was fast. Too bad I live 6 hours drive away. Otherwise, I will come back this place as often as I can.

Simply put- is ready here again. Since we are "not from around here" and we have many very good sushi options at home I was surprised when everyone wanted Japanese. For vegans, they have a nice vegetable tempura and a soy dish or two. Now for the good stuff- the sashimi platter I had was very fresh and pretty to look at as it was too eat. . the sweet shrimp we had as an appetizer was great. Worth a visit, especially for those who live in an area with sub standard Japanese options.

Came looking for hibachi and we were almost detered because they didn't have the hibachi tables. So glad we stayed! Some of the best hibachi we have ever had and such fresh sushi. The service was also outstanding even with our crazy two year old and fussy 6 month old. Very good!

I am almost at a loss for words for how awful my experience was here. These sushi chefs were the rudest people I have ever met in my life. They couldn't be bothered by us and there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. I was starving but lost my appetite for how disrespectful they were to my friend and I. Do not come here. We are running out the door. The waitress wasn't any more friendly. The only thing I ordered had fake crab and the steamed shumai was frozen. Horrible.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. I have only begun eating sushi since the first of the year. Either I have been spoiled by the northeast sushi restaurants or this one is out of touch with the rest of the sushi world. I wanted Spicy Girl roll deep fried. They had no idea what I was talking about. I then told them to just make up a roll of spicy tuna, spicy yellow tail and salmon and wrap it in rice and then deep fry it. Again clueless. I ended up ordering a tuna roll and a salmon roll. And that is what I got.. Piece of tuna wrapped in rice and seaweed. No sauce. No attempt to dress it at all. -F. My ordered Teriyaki chicken. It was off menu and on the dinner menu. So I got disappointing sushi and my wife got a meal that would have tasted better from Sarku in the mall. Total bill, no alcohol, $32. Avoid if you like good shushi.

We did not do the AYCE deal, as it was already dinner time. Sushi rolls were well put together and portions were good for the price. However, the rolls lacked the aromatic flavor due to the rice not being seasoned with rice wine vinegar well enough. Overall good but not spectacular. Service and atmosphere was great. Squid salad also needed a little more seasoning.

After searching for a few places to have dinner with my family [my husband, mom and two kids] we found this golden gem! We started off with an order of gyoza and beef skewers. The beef was extremely tender and the sauce was amazing to pair with it. Gyoza we ordered fried and to me the sauce always makes it what it is. Their sauce that comes with the Gyoza was also good as well. Main course... We ordered udon soba which was really good. Also ordered the golden roll, yummy yummy roll and spider roll. Spider roll and golden roll did not disappoint. The yummy yummy was good if you're looking straight for just some crab roll. But it's pretty heavy fact that it is fried. Overall was very happy about our visit and if we come back to PCB this will be a revisited restaurant for sure !!

Their sushi is hit or miss with me. Sometimes you can tell it was swimming just a few hours ago; other times I fear food poisoning. I like that they take chances with their rolls but, again, very hit or miss if the odd pairings are successful. Simplicity seems to pay here so I stick with sashimi or very simple rolls. Don't bother with cocktails, which are extremely watered down.

This is my go to sushi restaurant. They have the best quality fish for an all you can eat menu that I have ever found and I've looked everywhere! Every time I go too PCB or the Destin area it'sv worth the trip here. The AYCE menu is HUGE with not than just sushi, and now it's 7 days a week: $17.95 M-F, $19.95 weekend and holidays, amazing value because it's more than just told: they have nigiri, appetizers, hibachi, teriyaki and tempura! Do yourself a favor and come here!

Keep going back and great every time. I love white tuna sashimi and always great (it's not really a tuna btw, but that sounds better than the real fish name). I have the discount card and always save. My fav place.

Great food! At first the staff were a little cold towards us. Not many smiles as you enter the restaurant. After a while, they warmed up to us. The menu had a great variety to choose from. We ordered the 2 in1 spicy roll and California roll as an appetizer. Those were delicious. Our kids actually liked the sushi!! The salad and miso were fantastic. I had the hibachi steak. It was flavorful but not overly seasoned. As we left the staff were very courteous helping us with to-go boxes. We will definitely come back.

This place was phenomenal. The food was great and it was plated wonderfully. I saw this place through a friend's instagram and kept looking more and more into it. I was not disappointed and the food was fantastic. Would definitely go there again!

Without a doubt the best Japanese food I've ever had for such an amazing price! Between four people all-you-can-eating we had almost two hundred dollars worth of food for twenty dollars each! The spicy crab roll would have to be my favorite on the menu! I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that we could order the hibachi food as well with the special! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who has a passion for Japanese food and can eat a lot! Only order water to drink, however, you want to save all your room for delicious sushi and hibachi!

All you can eat sushi till 1630. Nuff' said! OK no this place is beyond awesome. I have been known to go in there and tear through a slab of Tuna and Salmon from time to time. Everything from the Hibachi is delicious and the prices are low to moderate. This the place to get Japanese on the beach!

Tried this place tonight and it was definitely worth the drive! I had the thai calamari appetizer, new york roll and the spicy tuna rolls. Dinner orders come with miso soup and salad which were really good. My husband had yellow tail and some other sashimi pieces i cant remember right now but he was very happy. I must admit the "all you can eat" scared us a bit bc i dont do all you can eat reataurants, but you can actually order what you want also. We eat ALOT of sushi and this place can keep up with some of the places we like from Houston (where we're from). Everything tasted fresh! The place was clean and smelled good (very important!). The staff was friendly enough and attentive. They have a service button u can push if u need something but we never had to push it. The best part, it's actually very reasonably priced. There's nothing worse than overpriced sushi! I would recommend and would come here again. :)

One of the best Asian restaurants in Panama City Beach! Low to fair prices and good quality of food. We had sashimi and udon noodle, fantastic!

We came here on the recommendation of a local. From 1 to 4pm they have an all you can eat menu for $20 per person. The menu is vast and its unlimited with the only stipulation being you eat what you order or pay for that item. The rolls are huge, well portioned, and well put together. The fish was all fresh and the soft shell crab roll was the best I've ever had. The value of this all you can eat is unheard of. I will be coming here again for certain.

I only come here for the all you can eat. It's everyday from 11am-4pm and is so worth it. Seaweed salad. And shumai are so good

An overall pleasant and delicious dining experience. We came here on a rainy afternoon looking for a veggie friendly meal. They have a daily all you can eat, so for $20.00 each we could order whatever we wanted off the menu. We were there on a Sunday when the all you can eat is $20, on weekdays its $18. We had edamame, age tofu (yum), and seaweed salad as appetizers the tofu was especially yummy. My husband had the sweetheart roll and the spider roll, he loved both. Being vegan, I had the asparagus roll whick was okay, a delectable avocado roll and a tempura sweet potato roll which could have been desert. We also had coconut cocktails, which were more like martinis, surprise :) the only reason for 4 stars was the wait for someone to take our food order. Three different servers asked us about our drink order and then we didnt have anyone ask us about the rest of our order for 15 minutes. Service seemed a little disorganized. Otherwise great! Oh, check out their bathrooms -Beautiful tile and ceilings.

Best sushi I've had in the area. Staff was very attentive and friendly. They were always nearby cleaning something and placed my orders quickly. The steak teriyaki was decent, too. Again, best I've had in the area, but far from the best I've had.

This place has the best sushi in PCB. I've been to several different places here and this is as good as I think I'm going to be able to get. I'm from San Diego so I know good sushi and this is pretty damn close. My husband and I each had three rolls here (we're gluttons) and they were all amazing. We also each had a long island iced tea and they were good and strong. I also wanted to try some hibachi, but I knew I wasn't going to have room for that and all those rolls. This place is expensive so it'll probably be a special occasion type of place, but we'll definitely be back.

This place is a highlight of my stay every time I'm in PCB. I would not change a thing! All you can eat sushi for lunch? Yes please. Very good sushi, made to order. Very nice staff and beautiful inside. Added info: I eat a lot of sushi. This place is tops in my book. Looking forward to my trip back. 2015 edit: Again awesome!

Just wanna let u know that server don't get their tips, They are getting hourly payment, management of place paying hourly payment from the tips, when I found out I got mad because I'm leaving my tips to the server not the owner of that place

There's no better value for sushi in Panama City Beach, Period. The all you can eat buffet is exceptional value, with amazing variety (sashimi, hand rolls, regular rolls, hibachi, soups, hot appetizers etc.) Service is attentive (always plenty of staff waiting to help). The atmosphere is pretty laid back and nice. One of my top restaurants in PCB.

I absolutely LOVE this place. They have the best fried rice I've had since I have lived here, which has been about 7 years. The rice is so darn delicious I have stopped by to get an order of it to go. Just the rice! Okay, how about the rest? I've had the hibachi in steak, shrimp, filet, and chicken and it's all delicious every time. I've also had the sushi and yes it was also quite yummy. I am writing this because I just went there for lunch for the first time and of course it didn't disappoint! I had a bento box special of the hibachi steak and fried rice, it came with soup, salad and half a California roll. My husband had the shrimp tempura bento box which came with even more food, I tried it and it was great. The service has always been so good to the point of almost too much attention. My friend and I always have a laugh about it. Anyway, this is one of my favorite places in pcb and definitely my favorite Japanese/Asian place in the area. I wholeheartedly recommend it! One last note, I used to work at a Japanese steakhouse in Arizona which is regarded as one of the best, so I know what I'm talking about! ;)

I've been to over 10 all you can eat sushi restaurants and this one has been the best. The sushi is great quality, not a ton of rice, and lots of other options for those that don't eat sushi. Do NOT miss thus place if you are in the area and enjoy Japanese/Chinese food. A+!

I've tried their All You Can Eat menu and it's worth your money especially if you can eat a lot of sushi like me!

  • Rick L.

Perhaps I'm spoiled being from a big city but this isn't great sushi. The rolls are cut into huge pieces hard to get into your mouth and what's inside is bland and un-exciting. The edamame even came out overcooked, split open with half the beans fallen out. The one decent thing we had was the tempura. Someone needs to open a better place in PCB.

  • Max R.

Have been here a few times for lunch, the all you can eat special is great. Family has gotten sushi and loved it all from the simple California Roll to more complex flavors like the Rainbow or Dragon Roll. Personally, I've had the hibachi steak and chicken and both were phenomenal. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a sushi/hibachi fix in PCB!

Love sushi so was very happy to have found this place. Husband and I had the Trio Sashimi DInner which consist of 6 pcs of tuna, 6 pcs salmon, 6 pcs of yellowtail. The meal came with a miso soup and salad but we opt to getting two miso soups, which was served in a bigger bowel that i expected. Then we got some rolls- the ocean roll, P.C.B roll and spicy tuna roll. Very filling! Will go again especial between 11-430p because they have all you can eat sushi and hibachi during those time.

Loved the hibachi salmon for lunch which came with miso soup & small salad; all for $9.95. However the sushi roll was just okay.

We did the all you can eat special which is only available for lunch. Everything was beautiful and tasted great. Wasabi was super hot! Service was the best! Clean and comfortable restaurant. Nice modern decor with a Japanese flair. Cloth covered tables. Everything is made to order and you can order anything from the all you can eat menu. Orders come out pretty quick. I had miso soup, tuna tataki, tuna sushi, salmon sushi, yellowtail sushi, red snapper sushi and a tuna roll. Wife had clam soup, tuna roll, salmon roll, spring rolls and fried calamari. I definitely recommend this place. All you can eat sushi buffet for $16.99 per person.

My boyfriend and I both ordered the "pick three rolls" lunch special. It was only $11 and came with miso soup AND a salad. It was great quality sushi and especially for that price. At any sushi restaurant I've ever been to, that's how much you'd pay for one roll alone. The waitresses were friendly and the service was fact and efficient. I would definitely go back.

This is my first review, but I feel that this restaurant deserves it. My husband and I are out here on vacation from Texas so that may be why we liked it so much. This is one of the best Japanese restaurants we have eaten at. I ordered the Thai calamari for an appetizer and it did not disappoint. The sauce for the calamari is AMAZING. So good actually that my husband started dipping his spicy tuna roll into it. He loved his meal. I ordered the Hibachi shrimp meal which was great as well. The problem we had with previous restaurants is that they cook the shrimp too long and it is dry, but they cooked it perfectly here. The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was the fried rice. It wasn't as good as previous places, but that is just my personal preference. I don't think it took away from the quality of this restaurant. The size of the plates was great. We had more than enough food for both of us and we did not want to stop eating! The service here was great as well. Very friendly staff and they were always checking on us. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes a low key nice meal. If we didn't live so far, I would always come back.

This is my weekly sushi joint, I've eaten sushi all over the panhandle and although this place isn't as good as the most expensive places, it is very consistent and way above average. I never have had a problem with prices, waiting times, or the quality of food. I never want to move from this city just so I can eat here all the time

A cute little place close to our crib, the chefs were extremely accommodating with my off the menu requests, - stuffed inari and hiyayako. The hiyayako was a first for them and they presented it beautifully. Pablo was happy with his sashimi and a bit of sake and an extremely generous happy hour vino and we were set. The stars really go here mostly for the service.

They have lots of options for vegans, we eat there once or twice per week. Staff is friendly, nice ambiance. GREAT MISO SOUP! It's wonderful every time we eat there. Sushi is great, and other people's tempura etc. looks really good. At night they pull out the table cloths and the sushi chefs get really artistic with the plates. We love it. We've had a little better before, but not around here. Oh yeah, they have all you can eat sushi, soup, and salads from lunch to 4 everyday! Saves us like $20, because my husband eats A lot.

Still excellent rating. HOWEVER, something not mentioned anywhere is the price jumps $3/person for the same all you can eat on Sunday. Same food, same service, just $19.99/person on Sunday.

Ate with a party of four. Ordered yummy yummy and kiss rolls. Also asked about the non-sushi menu and waitress explained options and ingredients. Waitress very friendly and attentive to our drink refills. Food excellent, especially the sauces on the rolls. Good sized portions. Treated ourselves to mochi and was very pleased with flavors and texture. Well decorated and calm environment. Music choice for the bar was pop music, not great, but was able to ignore with good conversation.

I've seen Shan Kishi's "all you can eat" buffet advertisement for long time now and I finally decided to give it a try this weekend October 8, 2010 to be exact. I was actually very excited for this place. The place from the outside looked a bit small but that didn't bother me as long as the food was good. The windows were also all covered up and I thought that was a little bit strange. What were they hiding in there that is so important where they have to cover all the windows up? I was in a party of 3 and we all ordered the "All You Can Eat" Buffet. We were seated by the waitress and were given menu's that were sticky the touch. She then asked us what we wanted to drink. We all ordered water and the water tasted a bit funny. I then read the "rules" on how the buffet works, such as no sharing and no left overs or we will be charged for extra. Sharing wouldn't be a problem since all of us ordered the buffet. The waitress finally took our orders and everything seems to be on the right track. 20 minutes later, our first order finally came!! We devoured the roll in about a minute. Another 20ish minutes later, another roll comes out and was devoured in a minute. So 40 minutes in and 2 rolls later, we were still hungry as hell. By this time, I practically had the menu memorized because I was bored to tears waiting for the food to come out and had nothing better to do than staring at the menu. Before this happened, the waitress took back 2 of the menu's because they say they were short and new customers needed them. We saw new customers coming in WAY after us and getting their food before we did. Only one person in my party had received his orders and the rest of us didn't get anything during this entire 40 minutes that we were here. At this point, we decided to order a bunch since it was so SLOW. The waitress keeps coming up to us and apologizing but I didn't come here for apologies. I came here to pig out on sushi like any other normal human being. After realizing they lost a couple of our orders, we had to reorder it. I wasn't very happy at this point and I was bored sitting on my ass doing nothing. I've NEVER been so bored at a restaurant before. Sitting here with my thumb up my ass doing nothing is the most boring crap I've ever done. So about an hour or so pass by we finally we received our final order. Even though we weren't full, we were afraid to order anymore because of the horrendous waiting time. I also noticed the sushi chef eyeballing me like I did something wrong. I was skeptical at this point that he might of spit in my food. After eating our last order I just wanted to get my ass out of here. We have already been here for 2 and a half hours. Any longer and I would of had residency there. In conclusion, they should name this to "All You Can Wait" rather than "All You Can Eat." Because at the end of the day, how long can you really wait? You can be damn sure that I didn't tip them a penny. They were lucky that I didn't give them the bird as I was leaving. The food was decently good but most people won't have the patience to wait that long. The choice is up to you.

went here for dinner with a friend and we both order sushi , reasonably good sushi by Florida (not California) standards. Okinawa over on the east side of Panama City is better, but this place as is good as any in PCB.. The place has quite nice atmosphere and is clean. Pretty good wine selection for a sushi place , and sake too of course.. Most wines are $7 a glass or $24 for a bottle. Service seemed good, it was crowded there when went for dinner tonight and it seemed like they were rushing us a bit so they could get more people seated.. But anyways, overall a good experience .

  • Justin N.

Run of the mill sushi, i think. Its not spectacular, but in florida its pretty good. But coming from california, ive had tons better They have lots of rolls and food to order, so there is great variety if you aren't into the raw fish persuasion and the selections are pretty decent. My only gripe was that the roll was rather large. Sushi is meant to be bite size...taking bites...tear it apart and leave the flavor in each bite only partial oh well. ITs the best i've had in the area..so check it

Shan Kishi has great lunch deals on sushi. They advertise all-you-can-eat sushi on a banner outside, but I prefer to order the 2 or 3 roll combos. The combo comes with soup and salad, both of which are good. The menu from which you pick the sushi for the 2 or 3 roll combo is limited, but it features some really tasty, albeit simple, rolls. The servers are always very friendly, and the sushi is prepared rather quickly. It's great if you're on your lunchbreak from work. Bottom Line: Good sushi, prices, service, and ambiance. Try it!

This place was friggin ridiculous. Over an HOUR to get our food, was lied to twice about it being ready, and then the food came out without fish in it!!! Hello?? Sushi restaurant!!?!. The calamari was rubber, the clear soup was fishy (which it shouldn't be), and the entrees were awful. We picked this place because it had best reviews in the area, and my 7 year old daughter wanted sushi after finishing her karate tournament. What a disappointment. We will never be back, and will be sure to let all people we know here not to come here.

I'm surprised this place hasn't been reviewed yet. I've been here several times and I've never been disappointed. My most recent visit was two weeks ago. I originally found this place while waiting for a table at the nearby Carraba's. The staff here are very friendly. We were promptly seated and checked on frequently. We usually get the sushi here because it's pretty darn good. My favorites include spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura, and yellowfin roll. All of the basic sushi rolls are a pretty good value. Presentation gets an A+. Finish it off with an order of shrimp fried rice and we have ourselves a meal! Sometimes I get the hibachi, and I must say that it's very good. Better than Makato and without the forced-applause beckoning theatrics. Just the way I like it. I'll go ahead and say that this is the best sushi I've had in the Panama City area to date. Bravo.

We were on a business trip and had some time to kill so we decided to grab some food. We made the right choice in choosing this place. The service was great and the sushi was pretty good. If you get the all you can eat just order a couple of rolls at a time and then you don't have to worry about running out of food and having to wait like so many other people complained about. Also you can share as long as it is with another person who ordered the AYCE special. Great food and great price!

Been there a couple of times for the all-you-can-eat. Be ready to eat alot. Sushi is fresh and made to order. Get the soft shell crab. It's awesome! Don't get the thai calamari. Taste like onion rings.

There is no better sushi on the beach! The salads, soups, and especially that fried rice (I have yet to try better fried rice - they have some kind of rice magic dust back in the kitchen) are exquisite. The sushi fish is fresh and consistently good. Love the tempura!! Yet, the reason why we come back is their staff. Last year I unknowingly left behind my brand new digital camera. A few weeks later we returned for dinner and the hostess had developed a picture of mine and exclaimed "Look, this is you, we have your camera!" That kind of service is practically unheard of!

Great sushi and service !! We always sit at the sushi bar so we can watch the chef's prepare our meal. These guys are artists. Nice cozy atmosphere and everyone is friendly. You won't be disappointed.

Been coming here for years, and I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience. If you are a fan of hibachi dishes, I highly recommend trying the offerings here. Their sauce is quite tasty, and their addition of minced garlic makes for a welcome departure from the standard hibachi fare found at most places. Sushi fans will not be disappointed either. Everything is always fresh, and the presentation is consistently top notch. Service here is great, with an extremely friendly and engaging staff. This place has a tendency to get PACKED, especially on a Friday or Saturday night, but they always keep the joint running like clockwork. I cannot recall ever experiencing a slip in service, regardless of how slammed it has gotten. If you are a local who has never been or a tourist here on vacation, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Speaking as a local this place is the best Oriental Restaurant in Bay County. Forget the high price tourist traps and dine here. You must dine for lunch and take advantage of the All-You-Can Eat special. Be WARNED. You must eat everything you order and YES, they will tell you if you didn't finish. This food is presented as any 5 Star chef would expect. The food is amazing. serving can take a little time but it's prepared fresh and worth the wait. It's a MUST TRY here.

Almost the worst sushi I've ever had. There is better sushi at Publix and it's cheaper too. Just came from San Francisco area so might be spoiled. Skip this place.

I usually don't write reviews but after eating here I felt like I had to go through the trouble of signing up for an account to let others know. I went for the all you can eat and it's really not an all you can eat but a "how long can you wait." Was ridiculous how long my order took to come. One person at my table received 3 of their orders before anyone else even received one. I was last to receive my first order which was over an hour into the service. The rest of my orders came out at the end in rapid succession however and one of my orders got lost. The waitresses kept coming out to apologize however I paid to pig out on sushi and not for apologies. Now I don't know how their service is if you order by the item instead of off the all you can eat option, but it seemed like others who came after me received their food before I did. Food quality I have to say was high but the problem is what they did with those high quality ingredients. The attempted fusion style cuisine came off poorly to mediocre at best. I ended up leaving before I was full out of the fact that I arrived at 12 and it was nearly 3 already and I didn't have much more time to play the waiting game. For the price of $17.95 per person, I was definitely disappointed and won't be coming back even if I visit Tyndall AFB again.

AMAZING. We went about noon on a Thursday- 4 people in the party. For $16.99 you can eat all you want, but must eat everything. You can share with others who get the all you can eat sushi- and it is epic. Fresh and good portions- keep that in mind. You will wait a little, as us expected. However we figured up that we got about $200 worth "off-menu" for $80 total. Will go again next time we are in PCB.

I love Shan Kishi and it's always been one of my favorite places to go eat. The food and service are normally great and I've always left happy. That being said be wary in March and April. They become overwhelmed by the crowd of college and family spring breakers and can't handle the volume. Quality and service both suffer greatly and being a small place it's literally impossible to carry on a conversation without yelling over the drunks. Does this happen to a lot of places here this time of year? Yeah, sure. But when the food gets bad and the service gets worse it's really disappointing. I still gave them 4 stars because normally it's awesome but maybe they shouldn't shove a 26 top of split check spring breakers in the tiny dining room.

My family and I have been coming here for 3 years on every vacation, at least twice per trip. It was always very pleasant....until today. Our party of four was seated very quickly and all was going fine. We were having the all you can eat special (our usual because it is an amazing deal). During the middle of the meal, we decided to order the LUNCH SPECIAL to go for 10.99 for another family member who couldn't join us. I specifically told the waitress we wanted the lunch special. However, the three 3 rolls we ordered weren't on the special menu... Yes, my fault for not noticing that, but her fault for not bringing that to my attention. So we get the bill for $110. We were a little surprised. We got charged the full menu price...equaling over $30 for 3 rolls... A big difference from 10.99. I asked the cashier at the front to take it off because I wasn't aware it would be so expensive. After making a big spectacle, telling me in a loud voice that it was all my fault not the waitresses', she threatened to call the cops. At which time my sister attempted to reason with her. Then we figure, "O.k., let's just cut our losses and pay for it." At this point, the waitress came back claiming that we crammed food in the booth to avoid an extra charge...and they increased the bill to 132.00!!!!! The waitress then had the audacity to take my mother by the hand and try to show her our big messy table. There was a napkin under the table and empty plates on the table...that was all. Keep in mind, all of this was in a packed out restaurant. She then says she has us on camera to prove this. We ask to see the tape, and she says she has to call the camera guy. About five minutes pass by and a man approaches us. He pulls the tape, and like we said, we did absolutely nothing. She then says that we STILL have to pay the $132 for a tip or she would call the police!!!! That's right, after being treated like the scum of the earth, the wanted a tip!!!! At that point, we refused....We told her to call the police. Then her and the "camera guy" started arguing in Japanese. The guy said to just leave us alone. I couldn't believe how they treated us. Before this visit I gave them a 5 star rating. We ended paying the $110. The sad thing is, we never leave anything less than a $20 tip EVERYTIME we have ever been there. We have referred numerous people there. One thing is for sure, they have lost our business for good.

Horrible.

I love their sushi, probably the best in Panama City Beach. Service has always been good.

For the price of $17.95 per person, I was definitely disappointed and won't be coming back even if I visit Tyndall AFB again.

went here for dinner with a friend and we both order sushi , reasonably good sushi by Florida (not California) standards.

Very good!

Horrible.

We came here on the recommendation of a local. From 1 to 4pm they have an all you can eat menu for $20 per person. The menu is vast and its unlimited with the only stipulation being you eat what you order or pay for that item. The rolls are huge, well portioned, and well put together.

This is a top five sushi restaurant in my book. Served timely, delicious and cost was comparable to what I ordered. Fabulous.

The sushi was pretty tasty, the service was quick, but it wasn't anything to write home button about per se. Overall though, a great place for good sushi

I love their sushi, probably the best in Panama City Beach. Service has always been good.

Still excellent rating. HOWEVER, something not mentioned anywhere is the price jumps $3/person for the same all you can eat on Sunday. Same food, same service, just $19.99/person on Sunday.
